Terms of Service
The rules for using CloneCut AI, buying credits, uploading your own videos and photos of people, pets or products, reporting a bad result and sharing the AI-generated videos you make.

Agreement
These Terms govern your use of CloneCut AI (clonecutai.io), operated by TOOLVERSE LTD ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What the service does
You upload a short source video (MP4 or MOV, 3 to 15 seconds, up to 30 MB) and one to three photos of a person, pet or product. Our AI video provider makes a new video that follows the motion, camera and timing of your source video with the subject from your photos. CloneCut AI runs in the browser; there is no app to install.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use CloneCut AI.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure: you are responsible for everything done through your account. You can delete your account at any time under Account → Profile.
Credits and payments
- Videos are paid for with credits, from a one-time Try pack or from a monthly plan. There are no free credits and no free trial.
- A video costs credits per second of output: 1 credit per second at Standard (720p) and 2 credits per second at HD (1080p). The length follows your source video, rounded up to the next whole second. The studio shows the price in credits before you generate.
- Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Credits from the Try pack do not expire. Credits from a monthly plan are valid for the billing month they were issued in and do not roll over.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Billing in your account: renewal stops and you keep the credits already issued until they expire. You can switch plans from the same page.
- Credits are not cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
- When a generation is confirmed as failed, the credits it reserved return to your balance automatically.
- If a video finishes but clearly did not work, for example the new subject does not match your photos, the original subject is still in it, or the clip is broken, you can report it from My videos within 7 days of it finishing. We review every report. If we approve it, we return the credits for that video or, for a video paid with Try pack credits and if you asked for it, refund what you paid for that video to your original payment method. We email you the outcome. A video that worked but is not to your taste is not covered.
- Otherwise, payments are not refundable once the credits are in your balance, including the current period of a plan you cancel, except where the law requires a refund or we charged you by mistake, for example a duplicate charge. If you think a charge is wrong, email us.
Your videos and photos
You keep all rights in the videos and photos you upload. You give us permission to store them, send them to our AI video provider and process them, only to make the videos you ask for and to run the service. We do not publish your uploads, use them in marketing or use them to train AI models.
Upload only videos and photos that you made yourself or have the right to use, including any music or sound in the source video if you keep the original sound. Every person who appears in a source video or photo must be 18 or older and must have agreed to appear in the new video. Do not upload videos or photos of children, of celebrities or other public figures without their consent, or of anyone who has not agreed. You are responsible for having these rights and permissions.
The videos you make
We do not claim ownership of the videos you make. You may download, keep and share them, including for commercial use, as long as you have the rights to the source video and photos you used, follow these Terms and respect the rights of others. Your videos stay private to your account until you share them yourself.
AI results vary. A video may not reproduce every detail of your source video or of the people, pets or products in your photos, and the same uploads and settings can give different results.
AI-generated videos and independence
Every video made with CloneCut AI is AI-generated. When you share a video, make clear that it is AI-generated, and follow the rules of the platform you post it on.
CloneCut AI is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Capafy, the publisher of the original "CloneCut" agent, or by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or any other platform, creator or brand. Names of other products and platforms are used only to describe what the service does.
What you must not do
- Break any law or regulation, or help someone else do so
- Upload videos or photos you do not have the right to use, videos or photos of minors, or of anyone without their consent
- Make videos that are sexual, hateful, violent or harassing, or that put a real person in a video they did not agree to
- Present a generated video as real footage, or use it to impersonate, defraud, mislead or harass anyone
- Suggest that a person, creator, brand or anyone else endorses your video when they do not
- Try to get unauthorized access to our systems, overload them, or scrape or resell the service
- Use the service to spread malware or other harmful code
Our content
The site, its design and its content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only through the service.
Reporting a problem
If you believe a video made here, or anything on the site, infringes your rights or shows you without your consent, email us with the details and we will review it promptly.
Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the service or other people at risk. If we close your account for any other reason, we will refund the unused credits you paid for.
Availability and disclaimer
We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We cannot guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, or that the AI provider we rely on will always be online.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update this page and the date at the top, and we will announce significant changes on the site before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new Terms.
